Still Learning and Motivation Issues
I didn’t have much time this week to think about a topic I want to write about. I wanted to write about AGI and my feelings toward living in the most exciting of times. But I realized that I lack a basic structure in writing. I go all over the place without a clear point to make. It gives me much more appreciation for those who can tell a story that keeps the reader engaged. This is much harder than it seems.
The last couple of weeks, I felt unmotivated to work on my physics courses. I still feel excited about these topics and watch a lot of talks (especially from the Science Festival YouTube Channel with Brian Greene). I have to find a system to keep me focused. When I open my laptop, I switch from task to task, open emails, scroll through HackerNews or Tagesschau (German news site) instead of doing work. I have the feeling it will get better as soon as the semester ends. Then I can get into my own pace, relearning all those topics for the exams. Fingers crossed.
